The City of Vaughan is never short of entertainment! Residents can get ready to enjoy the fun fall activities taking place around the area. One of the communities favourite annual festivals is the Canada’s Wonderland Oktoberfest.
Where Did Oktoberfest Originate?
Oktoberfest was first a German festival, but now, it’s a worldwide phenomenon, taking place to celebrate Bavarian culture and beer! This festival began over 200 years ago as a wedding celebration when the Bavarian Prince Ludwig married Princess Theresa of Saxony-Hildburghausen. The celebration was so good, that it became an annual event.
